Conceding goals during short corners?
Look at these three variations or progressions on the 3 - 1/ Diamond/ arrowhead/ or 3 - 1 High short corner defence formation.
Pros:
Very effective against most of the common attacking variations.
Puts pressure on any shot at goal from any variation.
Well geared towards blocking deflections and tip ins.
Cons:
Pressurises but places responsibility on goalkeeper to deal with straight hits or flicks from slip left or slip right variations.
